A series a robots depicting the different members of my family in the form of robots. Though my family is gone lots of strange stories remain. The stories are hidden in the detail. Instead of being pure decoration, the ornaments are clues that unlock a story. The intention is that the viewer initially “reads” the sculpture but that closer inspection reveals hidden layers of narrative. The work is made during an artist in residence stay at International Ceramic Research Center Guldagergaard in Denmark.
